My name is Vanessa, a homeschooling mom of 3 and nurse practitioner. My husband, Jeff, is a US Navy veteran and builds all that you see here documented on social media. We are the venue and event space owners. We operate our family farm with our kids producing goat milk soaps, growing & raising food for our family, and running goat yoga classes. We celebrated our own vow renewals here on the farm in 2020. We now feel compelled to share our own farm as a micro event venue in Hixson. We support diversity and inclusion here at our venue, as I am the biracial daughter of immigrants- my father hailing from the Philippines and my mother from Uruguay. Our own marital union would not have been possible without the love and support of our LGBTQ “family” that stood by us then and still does today. So regardless of what your love story looks like, know that you are welcomed here with Jesus size love and we would be honored to be a part of your special day. I will also go a step further and ensure that our Preferred Vendor List is composed of like-minded individuals, so you don’t have to hunt and peck for accepting vendors yourselves.
We have a passion for sustainability farming and homesteading. Will Allen has been pivotal figure for me and my vision of urban farming. We have a deep respect for the land we inhabit. Here on our farm, we aim to leave it better than we found it because we realize it is on loan to us from the next generation.

Our nuggets are our mini farmhands. We homeschool our children, integrating our farm as a living, learning environment. Our hope is to inspire a love and respect for the environment. We teach them everything from gardening, beekeeping, animal husbandry, and cooking from what we produce right here on our farm. They are my only assistants. In fact, they are solely responsible for farm operations and have grown into venue responsibilities.
We realize the next generation is our future and we aim to be intentional, investing in a counterculture of convenience. By embracing a love for "simpler" times, we hope to make a grassroots change for our children.
