Our goat milk soap is sourced right here from our very own goats, the same ones that provide you all the goat yoga entertainment. We milk them during kidding season and produce an array of soaps that are gentle and nourishing to your skin.
We started making homemade soap over a decade ago but we didn’t start making goat milk soap til 2020. We noticed the lovely addition it made to our soap and now we solely make goats milk soap. Our kids are charged with milking the goats and I (Vanessa) make the soap!
When we conceptualized Dope soap in 2016, I was teaching our oldest about marketing and choosing a “catchy” name. Vivienne came up with the name Dope Soap and it has stuck ever since. I thought it was a good nod to my home state California and underserved area which I was raised, the ghetto.
Besides farming, my second love is music. I was raised listening to a variation of great music thanks to my dad. I try to convey my love for all genres of music through my soaps and let songs be my inspiration for developing new soaps!
Mission statements – Our mission at Moser Manor Farms and Dope Soap is to bring you clean products that are sourced as much as possible from our farm. This means that at times our soaps use tallow, when it’s available. We aim to use as much from our animals as possible so there is little waste much like our ancestors did.
Company policies – Our soaps are hand cut so there will be variation in sizes. They are often underlabeled in weight to ensure you are getting more for your money. There will be slight variations in color and design as well as no two soaps are alike.
You often hear that “You are what you eat!” We have a variety of free range, pasture raised chickens that peck and scratch all about the farm eating bugs. Since their food is mainly sourced naturally through this method, our chickens are able to provide the darkest and richest egg yolks rich in Vitamin D and Omegas. Once you indulge in our tasty butt nuggets you’ll never go back!
